I havent seen this case around the forums so id thought id bring it out to the pimp rig locals, yesterday i was looking at my empty chenming server case that im planning on using for my next modded gaming rig. This case is well known to modders and gamers alike, infact too common place for me, so i thought id go looking for a case that is spacifically designed for cable manigment, functionability, moddability, watercoolability (is that a word?), and of corse room.
This thing comes apart like legos.
To keep this short i found a review on it. Akasa Eclipse-62

ok i found a usa distributer, globalwin makes it the 61f1. so i bought it and its silver comes with wheels. a full pexiglass side panel so the the whole left side panel is clear, also come with the normal side. and it comes with a matching compu nerse temp monitor that matches. i ordered a 120mm blowhole duct to make the front 120mm intake and front bezel look pimp, also ordered an aluminum chrome 120mm fan to match inside.

also ordered up a chrome polarflo tt cpu block and am gunna order matching pump as soon as funds build up after rent and bills are payed.

the outside is identical to a lian li case as all the panels top and sides are brushed silver aluminum, sept the front bezel is plastic and greyish/silver. kinda a letdown . but im thinking of wrapping the whole front bezel with silver grey carbon fiber. the removable motherboard tray is chromed stainles steal and has pre cut holes to rout wires (bonus). and it has a front mounted pci slot hidden behind a little push door along with usb ports.

and like i said before comes apart like legos, practically all the screws are thumb screws, including the ones holding in the removable hd racks.... oh yah its 9.5"wide and 21.5" long and 18" tall so its sooo roomy inside for a nice w/c settup. it has 120mm intake and exhaust (sunon). sorry to babble but this is the most unique case i have ever worked on or seen.... damn i could almost take a nap inside this thing...

anyone know of a inexpencive distributer of colored carbon fiber here in oregon or close by?? and anyone in need of a chenming charcole black server case.. brand new..

This looks like a really good find! I did find it in silver/grey as you mentioned, but the black version doesn't seem to be readily available in the US. The mirror finish mobo tray and black frame is VERY nice. I'll be keeping my eyes out for this one...hopefully the original version posted in that Malaysian review you provided a link to will turn up in the US. I'll look a bit more later.

well the sight i ordered it off of has the black too but its out of stock and they told me that it takes a while to get futher stock of this particular case. but i didnt want to wait and the silver one will do great for what i have planned.. www.computernerd.com
