Default Stability problems in an Antec Aria case

I'm a Danish (hence the bad English) SAP Architect who privately is quite new to fiddling with hardware and modding. I have an Antec Aria case with a MSI RS480 mainboard, AMD64 3200, Seagate 160 GB disk, 1 GB Ram and a Leadtek 6600GT card. The latter was purchased because I wanted better graphics in World of Warcraft than the integrated graphics in the MSI RS480 delivered. I'm quite pleased with the Leadtek card, although I have some stability and heat problems. In WoW my PC often freezes, so I've made some better airflow in the case by making air-holes in the side of the Aria and removing the extra fan grille, but still the stability problems remain. Speedfan/bios temperature report CPU temperatures of 37-45 (idle/load) and the Leadtek 38-62 (idle/load). I'm beginning to wonder if the standard Aria PSU (300W) could be the problem or maybe WoW with the 77.72 Nvidia drivers?

Any suggestions/experience?

Regards,
Svend

I think you could have a PSU problem if it is only rated at 300W. T ypically these cards require a minimum of 350W to operate properly. I also think you may have done more harm than good by putting holes in the side of your case. Positive crank case air flow is front to back... with a possible addition of incoming fan air from the side door and exiting fan air from the top of the case.

I'd recommend a better PSU to start with with atleast 18A on the 12v rail.
