New tools of the trade...

This is the device that till today was being use for my modding needs.

It was some really cheap Ã‚â€œAs seen on TVÃ‚â€ kind of thing that I got a long time ago and never used. Till two weeks ago when I tried to cut a blowhole on my premod acrilic panel... lets just say that it did no help me at all...

So I was walking to my workplace like 2 days ago and saw this beautiful dremel on the hardware store display... and so, after selling my old PS1 yesterday o got my brand new dremel just 2 hours ago..

IÃ‚â€™m in love whit it, I have already fixed the damage done on the acrylic by the other tool, and was wondering which extra pieces I need for modding... Any clues would be gladly taken...

Hello mmaturen there is alot of atatchments for a dremel you could use like this which would probally a good investment to have for cutting windows, fan holes etc.http://www.dremel.com/HTML/home_fr.html click on accesories and i would get the jig saw part for cutting windows or even fan holes as for blades i would get the cut of wheels.

Thats even the old modle, I hate the new one gets to warm to fast and is uncomfortable to me.

You can always reference the Dremel website for SA HERE

They only have Brasil, Argentina, and Chile listed (I think you can order from the Chilean page, but I figure you can still find the bits you want and use the parts numbers to order them (or if you can find them locally, even better) Look around the page and see what you think...

Reinforced cutoff disks (ruedas de corte #426) are a must. They look like either carbon fiber or fiberglass woven, but they are about the strongest of the cutoffs aside from the diamond-encrusted bits (kinda pricey per unit)

A couple sanding/grinding bits are a good thing to have, to file down those sharp edges after you cut a blowhole or two in the case(s)

Engraving bits of various sizes for etching windows or even the case metal itself

Polishing bits (the plastic brushes and the cloth wheels/cones) are good as well
