Question Help Please!

Hi, I am currently in the process of takin my case apart and woz wondering the easiest way to take pot rivets out, i've tried drillin them out and pullin them out with pliers and it seems a little more difficult than it shud b. How has everyone else got them out if it woz drilling, usin wot size drill bit? Thanx



Edit: it's ok now i used a bigger drill bit is a realli easy now thanks neway

Just get a drill bit that is just barely big enough to drill out the center. It may spin so hold one side with pilers you should have better luck.

Edit: it's ok now i used a bigger drill bit is a realli easy now thanks neway

with my case it was riveted and spot welded soo i ended up demoloshing the back piece and made it out of pexiglass. but yeh just drill the holes a lil bigger than u have and it should pretty much fall apart....just watch out for the spotwelding if it was...

well, number one, go to school and learn your spelling and grammar , number 2, get a drill bit to drill them out... its different for every case so i couldnt just tell you the drill bit size

i drilled mine out with a drill bit that was almost the exact same size as the hole they were going through, worked great

Typically, an 1/8th inch bit will do the trick, don't know what size that would be in metric off the top of my head though.

umm...k....that was really uncalled for. even thought i i dont see the point for the excessive use of "woz"

BTW: if you noticed right after he posted this, he made an edit. Notice how he says that he just just a bigger bit. Yah, he got it. I saw this thread when it was created. then two secs later it was edited, he's good.

Thanks man nice to see some people are clued up round here, and as for the grammer i was busy modding my case and i got my mate to create a thread for me, and yea he does type in a quick slang way, but anyway thanks to everyone for the quick replys if i hadn't of figured it out myself they would of came in handy
