Default Building case from scratch

I want to make a case that is something like this http://mountainmods.com/product_info...products_id=85. But i dont know how to keep the panels together. I will have 3 plexy glass windows(top, left side and right side). Also i dont know what type of metal i should use. I also have access to a welder, dremel, and a jigsaw. If anyone can help me i would really appreciate it.

The pimps here just use some old motherboard tray from a old case. Cheaper.
Let me do some research......

Copper is really fun to weld together. J/K. Most likely the two materials you will most likely be using is steel or aluminum. For welding aluminum you should really use a tig welder because it doesnt produce as much heat. It is very easy to go and put a hole in a piece of aluminum while welding. for welding steel you could get a way with a mig welder.

Thanks for the help, ima see if i can get my hands on a tig welder . The only things that ill be missing is the motherboard tray and the bays. I just need to find some place that will cut aluminum to a custom size. I will post picture of my progress when i get all the materials

Here is my Rig WIP... Its all Alumium Angle for the chassis, and Alumium Sheeting for the panels, and plexi for the mobo tray.

Held together with JB weld Epoxy (not the quick dry) & clear silicone on the inside to "smooth" out the panels and limit vibrations.

This is a inverted mobo case...

Keep in mind this is Works in Progress. There will be two side panels with a phoenix window to cover up the epoxy leakage on the plexi (should scrap off anyways) . Mirrored Aluminum panels, Black trim for fan holes. And oh yea, a front panel with 120mm blow hole... green lighting. If you need some help with your building your case dont be afraid to PM me.

Parts ripped from old cases:
HD bay
CD bay
I/O shield
Old cd drive casing to hold my switches and stuff cords into...

Here is the greatest link you'll ever find

happy case building...

Hehe thanks, im glad you like it. All my friends want me to make them one too... Although I don't think I'm goin to do a "from scratch" one for them, I might help them pimp their rig with paint, blow holes (i got some hole saws that fit 120's and 92's) and maybe a bit with windows..
