Aluminum Cube

[I had nowhere else to put this]

Does anyone have any pictures of the inside of an aluminum cube case? I can never find any good pictures of the internals, it's always the front/sides. I want to see how the insides are layed out.

Aluminium cube? Well cubes in general are based on a "boxes in one side, boards in the other" so the PSU, drives, H20 PUMP and rad/res in wanted are in one side, while the motherboard gets optimal airflow with it and cards in the other (and fans obviously).

So their primary objective is heat isolation?

One would assume...your removing the blocky areas of the case, and putting the mobo in its own compartment effectivly...with plenty of air flow/ water cooling, they probably come out better than your average tower with the same hardware.

I have never seen a aluminum cube case but this is the closest i could find (total ground up mods)

As for seeing how things are laid out in a cube the best thing i would have to say is keep searchin around for yy cube cases Glitterkill and BA have both done one on this site im sure there are pics of. I just got a cube myself and as for a wall seperating the mobo and harddrives and rom ,the way its designed and you and Nev were talking it does seperate the heat. (mine is not up and running or i would share pics with you) The main thing is there isnt much of a place in the YY cube to have a exhaust fan for the mobo section,I have to think of a way to overcome that.
