Painting Acrylic...Help!

hey everyone, I am recently working on a project/theme. I bought a piece of clear Acrlyic because I am making my own side panel/window and i need to paint in white (trust me on this one). Now, I bought this all purpose white spray paint from Home Depot, I havent painted it yet because of weather reasons in my area, but before I do my questions are Will the all purpose (indoor/outdoor) spray paint work well on the acrylic and any tips when painting it.

I'd think it would probably work just fine, you can always test it on a scrap piece. When painting acrylic or lexan, I use thinner based enamels for best results. I use a 3M pad to rough up the surface so paint will adhere well. And I paint from the back side, it looks like a really thick clear coat over the paint that way.

alright thats good, because when i make the window, iam gonna put another piece of acrylic which is gonna be plain/clear...and i only want the light from the inside of my case, being exposed from the cut out...

thats why i need to be sure there the paint goes on thick, and light wont go thru...or atleast not a lot...

I was thinking about doing a similar thing before I do my etching, except more of a frosting effect. Let me know how it goes.

well see its been about 4-5 months that i have my case and its a pre-mod but not intensely premodding one. And i finally got a theme, that i doubt has been done yet. I have been looking around for a side panel for my enermax case, and i havent found one, so iam just gonna take the side panel frame and attach it to the acrylic (which iam gonna paint white) then cut my window...

well thanks, but I dont need one anymore, i got my plan for my side panel... id rather stick to what I am doing myself, it adds some more points to the creativity part.

that is well good idea, in fact its so good that I was thinking the same except I wanted to cut the side panel in half so it openes like emmmm.....well..... damn I can't think of anything that openes like... ok it openes lke a duck mouth, one side goes left and the other goes in the other side...
I lost it theere din't I...

or, another idea is, kind of a challenge, you can try taking a side panel, cutting it in half, and attaching the two pieces with some sort hinge mechanism and that way you cud have like a suicide door or something.
