| Well... live and learn I guess. I had painted my old DVD RW bezel to match my old case color scheme (metalic blue), and decided to repaint it to match my new case color scheme (black and gold). I first tried to just cover the blue with primer (not such a great idea). After seeing that that wasn't going to work, I decided to try to use paint remover to take off the primer and blue paint (mistake #2). Turns out this paint remover (supposedly safe for plastic) likes to melt plastic. So now my DVD RW bezel and tray front is a giant melted plastic mess. The drive is a dual layer DVD +/- RW SOHW-1633S with a black front bezel. I tried looking on the Lite On website for a replacement bezel with no success. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement bezel for my drive? I don't really care what color it is as I will be repainting it anyways. Once again, eventually I will get the hang of all of this and will be one of the ones HELPING other rather than hasseling all of you good people for answers. Thanks for any and all suggestions you might have. | ||

| Interesting concept... How would one go about doing this? (Please excuse my n00bness) Nevermind.. I found a tutorial located elsewhere in the forums. Thanks for the suggestion. I'm gonna get started on this first thing in the morning. Going to go ahead and do it to all my DVD drives. One question though.. how can you stealth a floppy drive (and still have it accessable)? | steathing a floppy can be a little more interesting, you could create a fold down flap from the drive cover that came with the case. i have not seen a tuitorial to do it this way, maby some1 has a link? one way i just thought of would be to take the drive cover that came with the case, cut a slot for the floppy disk, but instead of cutting a hole for the eject button, make the whole drive cover be the eject button. so when u push the drive cover in, it ejects. this would be fairly complicated, but i have a good pic in my mind, if you are still interested, i can draw it up | ||

| The floppy drive location on my case has an interesting cover system to it. It has a removable cage that fits two floppy drives and is covered with two metal covers that look like the picture attached below. I don't have a dremel, so cutting would be a bit on the difficult side (finances can't fit a dremel right now). Thanks again for all of the suggestions guys. I really do appreciate it. | ||

| I've stopped using floppy drives and instead use flash drives. Consider, seriously, how often do you actually use floppy disks? I only use them for installs, if even then. Of course, if you do use your FDD drive alot, Cpl Rampage has a nice idea there. I've also heard of people putting them on the backside of their case, out of sight, but still usable if needed. | ||

| I knew I had read it before, this is a how-to I found on the Bit-tech.net forums. The author used it on a Lian-li case, but I don't see why It would not work on yours. http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthrea...threadid=24760 | ||
