I just built a new PC and wanted to share it with you guys. I've been here before over the years, but never posted anything, since most of my computers were pretty much garbage.

My new PC consits of:
RAIDMAXX Silver 8 Bay Case with window
Pentium 4 (640) 3.2Ghz 64bit 2MB L2
1GB Kingston HyperX LL Memory
160GB Maxtor SATA-150 HDD 7200rpm
Samsung DVD-RW
Sony 16x DVD
eVGA nVidia Geforce 6800 Ultra PCI-E 256MB
Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS
Dual Vantec Tornado 94cfm door fans -LOUD-
Cooler Master LCD -Case- Thermal Display
Front Mounted Flash Memory reader
Enermax 600W Power supply

I make custom vinyl decals - glass etch too, just like the one above....

Welcome to PR and I'm glad you're hooked now....

I'll be building a new computer this weekend. I've got my Empire computer all torn down and ready to dremel when it gets above 50F here.

Thats a dual core CPU....I would highly suggest you start folding...RIGHT NOW.

Keep good care of that system...its well ahead in terms of technology, and you seem to have chosen the best of the best. I could certainly say you could keep that thing going for a good 5 years....you couldnt push it my way for "borrowing" could you?

its dual cored? thought it was just hyper threaded . ..

Nope, not a dual core, unless he's an Engineer at Intel and got to bring home a test sample

Just plain old Hyperthreading Prescott P-4, it is a new 6 series with 64 bit instructions though...

AFA the window decals and etches, you'll probably find some "bidness" up in here, so post up some pics of what all you can make/have made in the past...

I'll snap a shot of some other decals I've made this week when I get home from hell...err...work.

I appreciate the comments, and I'll be checking out that "folding" for my down time. What a great idea.

If anyone needs some vinyl decals, I work for a sign shop and can pretty much make anything....even full color CMYK thermal prints on vinyl, then die cut them. Just pay for the material and shipping and it's yours.

And yep....those fans are loud, but I use headphones when I play online so it's pretty much drowned out completely.

It's nice to finally be a part of this group....I've always felt like an outsider with my 386/sx33 and 4MB of ram.... I'll be an active member...You guys will see me in here alot. I made some CS Source logos so I need to go cut some vinyl before my boss gets in!
