Now now grim, not everyone has the luxury of living by a Menards. Besides, I didn't even know the sold acrylic.

| If you just need some stuff to practice on it would probably more convienient to just buy some stuff at Home Depot, that way you can just buy what you need and cut down on shipping. I bought a 7.5 ft^2 , 1/16" piece for about $13. Make sure you ask for plexiglass instead of acrylic....apparently they don't carry it. ![]() | ||

....Hmm. I suppose. I'm in Wisconsin, so we've got a lot of those kind of stores (at least where I live). And I take it back, it didn't ACTUALLY say acrylic. It said Lucite or something like that. Same thing if you ask me. And aparently, menards doesn't want you to buy stuff from them online. Their website blows...

| Forget all of your suggestions! (They're all good, but check out this alternative!) If you're looking for a cheap-as-dirt window, go to your local office supply store and pick up one of these, in the size you need: Micro-Beast MATX Project | ||

Very cool innovation! Just goes to prove once again, anything can be used to mod. All you need is imagination. ![]()

-True that, but you gotta: 1. Cut it with a jigsaw or hacksaw or Dremel 2. Clean up all the melted bubbled plastic 3. Hope it doesn't crack as it's very brittle 4. Peel off that *$&^*&^ paper mask And you end up with a much thicker window, meaning it's heavier overall....so, there are merits to looking for alternatives. ![]()
