Talking LCD Install

I read clown's LCD guide and I decided to try one myself.

Here's the result:


I'm going to put it in the side window of my case. I'll post pics of it when I get done with that.

That's a parallel LCD, I'm using LCD Smartie and it's displaying system info right now.

Nice job! I've done about 20 or so LCD jobs now. Most of them parallel...talk about a pain in the @$$ during the soldering phase! I was lazy and used a CrystalFontz 634 serial LCD in my current case. Once again, good job!

I only had two colors of wire. Talk about ass-painage.

Well, I only used the red wire for my 5v. 13 other black wires though. I didn't use a multimeter either. I like living dangerously. Lmao

Updated Pic. I'm still waiting to get some screws for the window. The holes are like 4mm and the smallest screws I have are 5mm.
