| You know, mnpctech, you got some blazin' skills there....but I'm really not liking the huge-ass rivets/screws. Just my 2 cents, but I think that'd look a lot cleaner if the added handles & flame-plates were epoxied on. That's not a dis on your ideas and ability, of course, we all know you're a true []D[][]V[][]D. ![]() | ||

Excellent observation.. Which gives me the opportunity to state my only gripe about Addtronics towers. You must pull off the face plate to pull open the doors. Yes, it is stupid. The "hanger hinges" for the doors are nice for removal, but wobbly also. Id rather have a door that is hinged. I'm working on eliviating this annoyance on a larger tower of this model. If this we're my case, Id cut off the front and rear lips of the left panel, add steel cabinet hinges and incorporate a locking latch towards the face. Other than this, the build quality of the case is great. I had the case completely dismantled in a few minutes. You can also remove all the switchs and LEDs without breaking plastic. I love the idea of the 90mm crossflow over the 5.25 drive bays. The chassis hanger fan looks cool, but I've never tried one to vouch for it's use. | Yup, I'm finishing up my case now. I was using velcro to keep the hinge closed, but that was too thick. I found cabinet closers thanks to a few suggestions here at PR. I'm just working on mounting them. Hopefully, if I get get a day off here, I'll get that done and post my pics finally. Looks awesome man. ![]() | ||

| OK mnpctech_guy, you got the accolades you were looking for here on the forum. Now put it in the gallery and see how it fares. The forums are normally used for ideas and not bragging on our mods. That is what the gallery is for. Every so often a member will post an ongoing project for recommendations, but you aren't looking for any, you seem to be "showing off". Put it in the gallery and see how it fares. | ||
