Well both my cd burner and my dvd player crapped out on me, so I went down to Bestbuy and bought a new drive and black round ide cable. I would have just ordred them from newegg, but seeing as how we were in the middle of a lan party, it wasn't really an option. Anywho having this new drive inspired me to actually do some modding, which I have not done in a while. I know its not much, but its cool seeing peoples reaction. I downloaded a program called cd tray pal and assigned hot keys to open and close it. Now what would make it look really good would be if I could actually find the other bezel to place in the drive bay above it. I can't find it anywhere and its probably long gone, so does anyone have one of these I could purchase from them? The case is a raidmax 256 in black.

Just a though, you could attach a small piece of foam or foam back taped to the back of the bay cover, then if you just push the cover it'll be enough to press the button and open the bay.

whynot call up the nearest computer shop and see what they have? most stores carry a surplus of them from other customers custom order computers!

oh and for ejecting the cdrom without worrying about the eject botton, get a small push button and solder wire tothe leads on it and then solder the other to the eject leads on the rom and wire it up somewhere in the front of the case!
