Default AT Case Mod problem

ok well heres the deal: I ve been working on a AT case for a couple months now. It looks pretty good, painted and all. I modded it, put some windows on it and managed to sneak the UT logo on it. 10 fans total (7 92mm @ 47CFM, 1 120mm (at who knows cfm) and 2 80mm ( which I could have upgraded to 2 92mm but didnt feel like cuttin a hole)

Here the problem: Remeber how the old AT cases were? How they came off. Remeber u had to take off the whole outside shell in order to get to then inside, well I want to elminate that. Problem is how? I thought about cutting, I dont wanna ruin the paint job, but never the less, it is an option. But then once I have it cut, it doesnt have anything to hold it except the screws (and those rail things at the bottom) One other thing to consider is the 92mm fan on the side ( in which I have it now, u have to lift up and spread the uhh err "legs" apart to get to the inside)

Another prob: It kinda bulges in the front where the window is (if u look at it from the front you will see this bulge) Also where that bulge is where the 6 92mm Fan module goes. I need to find ways to elminate the bulge. But the fans are kept in place by the things on the case. The fan module is made out of plexy glass...

I hate putting up pics of cases before there done..I like to keep things secreative..then show.. the masterpeice

but In this case..I'll just have to get up close and personal and expose her insides...

Not sure exactly what you are talking about, but that style of removing it could be pimp in its own way. Ferrari (spelling?) style case.

What would be extra-pimptastic, but a bit extravagent, and a bit expensive, would but some hydraulic lifters. Just have it life the case all the way off.

Im not sure if im even thinking of it the right way, on how it comes off , but that would be pretty pimp.

Well, funny how you mention that, the one AT tower I have modded doesn't have that shell, but infact it has suicide doors on the side.

What I would suggest is something similar to my Short circuit mod, mod a door into the side of it so you never have to take off the shell.

hmm thats a good idea j-dogg..hmm I have one side that has like nothing on it at all...hmm if I put a door or something on that side..and then make it so the mobo can swing out...hmmm

err then again..wait..ya..the wiring would still be reachable...

If you look at the thermaltake tsunami dream, it has a pretty nice quick method of takin off the side. Just cut off at the top and attach it with a couple thumb screws
