Just saying hello, Im new to Pimprig and pimping rigs alike. Ive started a project building off of my $400 (u.s.d) E-Machines titled M(E)an-Machine. Ive started the case with a base coat of high gloss white, which will be coverd with a metallic clearcoat red. When Ive got some more cash and time Ill get the work done and post some specs and pics.... but for now to hold everyone over check this out (may be old news to all of you but if ever there was a pimped rig this would be it) http://www.wizdforums.co.uk/showthread.php?t=895

That avatar has been in use since long before you were a member here and even before I was a member here. So quit yer whining on get on with life....... it is a lot more enjoyable when you stop to smell the roses once in a while instead of whining about how things suck for you.

Well, I think he is mistaken also BUT, there is such a thing as clear metallic red. Its candy paint with metallic added. But the reason I think he is mistaken is that it will look like a mud fence over white. It will actually be pink and the metallics will hardly show up unless you are in direct bright light.

Anyway, Welcome to PR.

That case gave me some sick ideas.

eh.... mud you say?? Well the white was free in the basement of my new house... I may have to rethink the base coat than.... Im actually going for a deep metallic burgundy super shiny and super slick.... what would you suggest for a base coat? Possibly a primer red?
