| If you read my last post, you saw that I was planning to do a Dark Side of the Moon case. Oddly enough, while in Latin class today my thoughts took a turn and now I almost completely have a Yellow Submarine case planned. Here is the problem I have come upon ....... I've got a plan to add extensions on the back of the case that the fan would be in so they looked like turbines. I don't know what to make them out of sadly, and I'm looking for some direction. If any of you have any ideas please let me know. | ||

| There's three options I can think of: 1. Use styrofoam, it's easy to cut and shape. Just be sure to use some latex primer before you paint it. 2. Use plastic. Either kitbash or shape it yourself. 3. Use metal. Lot harder to work with, but yealds the best results, imho. | ||

| Apex Tech Fanatic Supreme | Look in the phone book for a place that does metal fabs or supplies, or go to your local roofing company. Round down spout comes standard in 2.5" to 4.5". Usually for a 20 spot the guys in the shop will make ya 10' of anything, take it home and cut to fit. It will have a pitsburg seam in it, just put that to the bottom . Or if your on the cheap and using a smaller fan, you can use a large plastic cup. | |
