| I got an old AT case from a friend..its a desktop..and its pretty big and heavy too must be made out of steel and it u wanna know it was a old 486!! I never seen one of these things before..it was built right into the motherboard!! also..its rusting a bit..lol heres the pics..I need suggestions..I dunno what to do with it..I am going to convert it to ATX. I was gonna cut out the part that held the HDD's cause there 5-1/2 bays.. to make more room and just keep the CD rom drive bays... Last edited by Nerdz; 18-November-04 at 04:11 PM.. | ||

| I would look at painting it inside and out, and cutting a few fan vents. Those old AT cases don't have much vetilation. You will need to rig up an ATX power supply, so be prepared to do some mods. One of the biggest problems is with propriatary motherboards, if you don't have regular expansion slots, there will be some creative workarounds in your future. Look in the galleries, and work towards something you like. | ||
