Okay, first off I'm new here but not to the computer/mod scene, I have been looking for a case to throw in all of my brand new components, to build my water-cooled pc. I have been looking at a coolermaster centurion 5 (the one with the mesh front), which I kinda like. However it does not have enough space for all my components, so here's my though; I just happen to work in the fabrication department at Kozy Heat Fireplaces and have access to any and all of their equipment after-hours. I was thinking about starting a design for my "own case" in Autocad and having it cut out on one of our lasers, and then I would fab it up on my brake. Just want your opinions weither this would be worth it, or should I just buy a case and make it work... PS I would like to add this will only cost me the cost of the metal... So dirt cheap for me.

Build your own....no sense in buying a case that won't hold all your stuff, when you have some awesome tools that you can use to build me, err, yourself one custom....

Yes, you are fortunate enough to have all those resources so you might as well use them and create something awesome for yourself!

Man, That is the deal!! If it were me, I'd take the slide-out motherboard tray from my CoolerMaster case, and build a totally custom, all aluminum monster! I have one of the ATC-200's from when they first came out, and it is a great case, but I find that it just doesn't hold enough, lately. There are so many ways you could take this project, thinking outside the box (pun intended).
