I need input on how to do this cdrom drive mod.

Hey, I am new to the world of modding... The only modding I have done before is fans and such for overclocking. I am now going for looks and not too popular mods. I thought of 2. I want to make my cd rom drives hidden... basically i mean i want to put the blank cover over the front and u tap it to open the drive, but preferrably without permanent changes. I tried this with an old cdrom drive but ended up bending the metal of the cdrom drive and such and then i couldnt think of a way to make it so u tap it to open it... I dont want to permanently change the cdrom drive if possible, so when i get new ones I could give away this one. How should I do this? I am a fan of hidden things... if you have any ideas on other mods that I could do that wouldn't be noticable on looking at it, yet if you tap it or something it will do something interesting (like the cd rom drive thing I am asking about). Any and all comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

All you have to do is visit the Mod links database we have here at PR you can find it on the dropdown menu above.
To make things easier on you go HERE and look through them all

Lol, thanks. My friend referred me to this site... cause me and him are trying to help each other mod so we have the 2 best cases for lan parties

the process you are describing is called "stealthing" just in case you are REALLY new and dont recognize any of the how to guides. Stealthing is the key.

and here is one thing that will get respect from coel off, if you put in a window mod, dont make it a square or rectangle. hehe, love ya Coel.
