![]() | Hi, not to insult anyone here with such a lame n00b question but I ve got some nice things going with my comp. modding even though Im new at it, but my question is how do I get my UV cable and other UV stuff to "react" like its supposed to? I bought a Xconnect titanium, with the blue UV cables, and I think I need a cathode UV light or something like that. Could someone please tell me/direct me to somewhere that would work best for what I need? Thanks and I look forward to being in your modding community!!! PS Im tired so ignore any type-O's! | Warcraft Warrior | Well, at least MattyBoy has been polite You hit the nail on the head. You need UV lighting of some sort. Here's a link: http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/frozencpu/index.html Browse the site for UV lighting accessories that you think would work well in your case. You'll have that puppy all lit up in no time

A UV cold cathode will light them MUCH better. Try www.xoxide.com or www.svc.com or other computer mod sites to pick one up.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hi Mattyboy, The reason why they are called "UV reactive" is because, as Enko stated, the key word is "reactive", or react to.. Check out some of the sponsor's links (i.e., the FrozenCPU link at the top) and check out the lights. Be careful that you don't select a blue cold cathode because all that emits is just a blue light. You'll need to get a "UV cold cathode" for the UV cables to light up. Hope this helps... Rob

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hmm, something tells me that mattyboy should be thankful that psy got here before I did. I will commend matty that he ended up complying instead of waiting for a mod to slam him. Thanks, psy. Rep to you. |

well as this website is based in the US and most of us are from the US, than i guess we would be following US standards for ratings wouldn't we? anyways, those leds you were talking about earlier. are they uv leds or are you going to go out and buy some new lights. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

![]() | [quote=Psylariser]http://cablecrazy.com/Merchant2/merc...egory_Code=CCL Does it matter what colour of UV cathode I get? My cables on the PSU are UV blue, so would I have to get a blue cathode or does it not matter. BTW, you guys here are awesome thanks so much for the quick and helpful replys!!!!!!! |
