Default Using Regular Cut-Off Wheels for cutting Lian-Li

I received a Dremel MultiPro for X-Mas, and it came with 2 reinforced cutoff wheels, and a whole bunch of regular ones. Is it OK I use these?

LOL...the 2 reinforced cutoff wheels will work pretty well....But they arnt going to last you for the whole project. id go out and get somemore, As for the the regular discs, they really dont work very well on metel, and i would save them for other projects,

Ohh! And make sure you are wearing safty glasses!!

SAFETY GLASSES! They can be bought for about $2.00 at Wal-Mart, but please protect your eyes. You can wear shooting glasses (if you own a gun), or even some glasses that motorcycle riders wear...most of all protect your eyes!

I used 4 reinforced discs on an Ahanix EX110 case cutting a 12x12 window, and a blowhole for 120mm fan. This case has some tough steel, so I think you may not use as many discs on an aluminum case. Those dremels kick ass, I bought the 35,000RPM Dremel Mutli-Pro also, but it came with discs, buffers, etc., as a kit. Crank that puppy on high and cut away!

Heh, that's why I asked since I knew 2 discs wouldn't last. Are these the discs I need: Heavy Duty Emery Cut-Off Wheel ??

Well I just finished cutting my widow on my Lian li ( i am prowed of myself)
I used the reg cutoff weels simply becouse i dident know re-inforced ones exist. I am preety happy with the resultls, although i did use about 10 discs on the whole thing.
Still they worked fine

Well Noslak....I gotta say same here...I was scared to mutalate my wonderfull case as well.

and i must say that i did make 2 mistakes when cutting; but hey no-one is perfect. Once my dremel jumped out when i was making a precision cut, leaving an ich long scratch. and once there was just a minor slipup in the cut.

But my window still looks awsome.

I cant seem to find my digicam, but i might try scanning in some pics.

hope ive been of help..ask away if you have more questions

Yep, good point.....but I HAVE to do the blowhole right side up since I'm not bothering to take the top off o.0 But then again, if I ever do cut a pic in my other side panel, I'll use your ingenius tip
