| My first post here at Pimprig. I'm doing a case mod and posting my progress day by day. You're invited to follow the changes and give feedback. The updates are HERE See: Big Case Mod I hope to see some comments and ideas posted in this thread as the mod develops. I know the readers out there have some great ideas, so share them here for all to use. Thanks for reading this Last edited by Dr. Hack; 23-December-02 at 11:19 AM.. | ||

| well, first comment is that that is one hell of a system or two. the thread should probably be in the Project Feedback forum here. as for what color to paint it, that's your call. it all depends on who you are and what you like. I would say a basic black/silver would look great. it always does, and it goes with just about everything. for a case like that i would probably try to come up with something a bit more radical though. for the front doors, IIRC you said that there was A/C filter in there so that means you have actual openings. get some EL wire and run that along the inside and get some glow thru them? | ||

| Very, very thorough. More thorough than I will probably ever be... but then again, I'm just an impatient teenager, so things may change. Very impressive idea, and... Dirty Pair Flash!!! w00t! Too bad my parents bitch when I have that as my wallpaper. I'm only like to where you're testing the pump system and it's just blowing my mind... I can't wait to finish reading it all. | ||

| DNS Update I'm changing hosting providers and there might be trouble connecting. Use http://http://hardwarehacker.org if you have problems in the next couple of days. It's too cold to paint anyway and I'll give the DNS a couple of days to propagate, so no updates for now. Last edited by Dr. Hack; 02-January-03 at 09:08 AM.. | ||

| Making use out of a big case by using two computers. + At least three working monitors in the same room + Arcade booth + Can we say bling? Dude, what do you do for a living? Are you like an architect, I don't even have the brains to totally understand everything you're doing, let alone build it, LET ALONE come up with it. This is the nicest case I've ever seen(No. 2 the Caffeine Machine) Rock on I CAN'T WAIT to see it when it's done WOW! | ||

| That is completely and totally nuts! I love it, I wish my wife would let me knock some holes in the wall, I would plug into my central air unit. I am truly impressed and the project you took on and the scope of the monster it's become. Can't wait to see the numbers. Wouldn't it have been cheaper to phase cool though? | ||

| Well, as I seldom comment I have got to say that one thing I constantly here about a mod is originality. Well you certainly have that, your modding the case and modding the house to fit the case. While I myself would consider a bit of it overkill I will certainly agree that the entire project is priceless! BUT, think about if you ever move or you get freezing temps outside..... (I have to be sarcastic) but I'd be proud as hell of it even if you have snags. Wixx, what you gonna come up with next? It looks like there is a bit of competition ![]() Can't wait to see the outcome, of both the system AND when you let your mrs. see what you have done after you release her binds and let her out of the closet. | ||
