| Apex Techie Wannabe |  Next project:  That's a vacuum pump. Should be here late next week. I wonder what I will do with it?  Now I just need to draft some plans for the actual case now that I know what I am making it out of. I want it to look nice with some pretty curves, but I'm not that creative. I also need to work out how to attach all the panels. Metal will corrode the fiber, so that's no good. I don't want to worry about using fiberglass either. I need to find out if I need to use some kind of plastic rivets or if CA glue will hold sufficiently. I need to find plastic thumb screws or something similar also for the side panels. Should be a fun project and great learning experience. I can't wait to get started! | |
