| I have a Platinum XP case from Ahanix. Originally I wasn't planning on doing any modifications at all, but I stumbled my way across a couple of sites and it sparked a tiny interest. I am new to the whole modding thing so I have no clue what to do. Also even the overdone things to you seem new and cool to me. So by the time I build my next comp I will be with you, but for now I need something to keep me busy.... I was curious if anybody out there would have any suggestions that doesn't involve too much knowledge of electrical circuits or cutting my case to shreds. I am up for pretty much anything... I have a Soyo motherboard KT333 Dragon Ultra Platnum Edition with a 60 mm fan. I thought about putting a grill on it for my cathode.... but I can't find any decent 60 mm fan grills. I can't manage to get a picture. (wow! I am a failure) Some Guys wear Jocks... Most Girls don't Some Girls wear Bras... | How artistic are you? You might try painting your case, Insomniac has a couple guides on doing that here. A custom shaped window is a nice mod thats not too hard to do. If you have ventalation grills in the front of your case you could put a small 4'' cold cathode behind them or something. And theres always the good top blow-hole.. you can make one of them and then put an LED lit fan behind it, thats pretty sweet looking. And if nothing else, try to be creative! A big part of modding is art... and a big part of art is trying something new. | ||

Knowing what Kenny thinks about, that's scary! Kleiner - If you're nervous about cutting your case up, making your own 60mm fan grille would be a great place to start ... easier said than done I know, but all it would really take is patience and a few basic metalworking tools. I'd suggest you use 1/16th aluminium as it's easy to work & polishes up really well. | ||||||||||||||||||||

| Easy mods: Changin' your case LEDs out to non-factory colors. installin' backlit or silenced fans Installin' a baybus (which is pretty good experience) Stealth a drive or two Wrap up your wires and/or go for rounded IDEs Anyway... that takes some time, and is a pretty good start. Have fun ;-) | ||

| Here, I found a picture for all of you to know what I am talking about. I hope it loads. We will have to see. I am interested in making my own fan grill, but i think if i cut it.... it would look crappy, not just any crappy either... Barbara Striesand Crappy! Some Guys wear Jocks...
