Ok, not really as much of a news article as it is an all in one informational post on the properties,compostity and such of things we know by the names of Lexan, Plexi, Acrylic, etc...

So, you know how sometime you hear a song and just can't get it out of your head and it is even there when the lights are out and you are tyring to get some sleep? Well, I have had Plexi on the brain since I started working/thinking about the mod I am trying to do to my Lian Li PC70. After a brief search of the net, I found a few good links concerning the material and I thought I would share them with all of you...

The first one, acrylic, lexan and plastics FAQ is a great Q&A on some of the more common questions concerning Plexi type materials.

This next one is a PDF file and is more detailed than most people would ever want to know, with exception to ZENNZZO. But then again, he probably help write it... Regal Plastices: Plastics Reference Book See my last post in this thread for the PDF.

You have to scroll down to the bottom right section headed as Raw Materials and Springs and click on plastics.

I know this is a little old to be resurecting but the second link in my original post is no longer good. I am trying to work with the company that had it on their website to see if there is a new link or if I can get a copy of the pdf.

Routing Acrylic

Ok, the other night I was going through the files that I had on one of my spare HDD's and guess what I found acrylic.pdf. I knew I had downloaded, just not to where. It is 2.5 MB in lenght so It can not be attached to a post. For the time being, if you send me an email to my admin account (feral at pcapex dot com) I will email it to you. It's a pretty decent document.

It's been a while since I posted in this thread. I am trying to see if I can break the file into three files so that I can attach them to this thread or in the downloads section.

Here is the file. I was able to do a little magic and squeeze the file down in size a little.
