New to Moding

Hi, I am new to moding and did my first moding project a few days ago when I put a fan into the front of my case. It was fun and I would like to do some more things to my case. I am wondering what things you would recommend to a biginner for a fun project to do? I would really appreciate all your sugestions.

Paint it
That is an easy thing to do or get a window kit it you want to dremel something but be willing to trash something if you do it wrong (just be slow and careful if you dremel it)

If you decide to paint there is an article on the site by Insomniac that is very good. If you decide to do a window id recommend doing your own design. Kits are easy but originallity is better.

hey, I am getting a dremel in a week. I will be working on it then. Is there any thing I can do to it now like maybe puting a light in it or something like that?

i agree, the most fun i had was doing the window on my case, and doing the turbine tunnel for my fan up front....definetly go for the originality with the window....if i could go back and redesign my window on my case i would in a heart beat....i wish i could find another door for my case for i could try again

and DEFINATELY read insomniacs paint guide here on pimprig, i read it before painting my case and it helped alot, as i didnt relize exactly what i needed before reading it

no sense in putting a light in till you get a window going, unless there already is one....a nice light is always a good touch..........i cant remember for sure, but im sure more mature members here could tell you the best place to buy the lights at.

one of my favouite mods was my fanbus/rheobus! When I fired it up to test it......and everything worked just llike I planned....I was beaming!
