| Ok i need a few opinions here. what do you hoes think is the best case to mod? Im defintly looking for something easy to cut, as i have a pretty intricate cut in mind, also something with plenty of space and places to hide the wiring would be nice. budget under 200$ bucks. | ||

| Buy a cheap $30-$60 non name branded case and mod it yourself. Take all the money you'll save and use it for something original and unique. Or next option, go to the Flea Market and find something that you have not seen a computer placed inside and buy it, mod it and enjoy being unique!!! | ||

| Scapegoat...I saw that Thread and have been watching it!! Damn good idea and I hope it works out in the end. Still...buy a Cheap Case and Mod it, make it original. If you want to buy Name Brand than it looks like you got a lot of choices (between brands and models) you can make for that kind of money. | ||

| good point BA, I basicly described it in the first post, basicly as Coel would put it, SSDD, it is going to be a very complex window cut( like the fairy case in the gallery) painted, CC etc. Monkey, only problem with the case i already have is that it basicly is a POS, doesnt have enough room, etc.... which is why i am purchaseing a new one. EDIT- What else do you need to know BA? | ||

| Dude, are you sure you want to spend the money on a Lian-Li case? Yes, it's aluminum, yes, it looks cool, but yes, it is frocking expensive! You can do better for much less money. The cooling capabilities of an aluminum case are true, but bull****. Any case with proper fan placement will keep a system cooler than a stock Lian-Li case. I guess I consider myself old-school; take a big-ass case and cut the hell out of it. Big windows, big fans, big cooling. If you want a case that you can paint, cut, and modify, don't go with an expensive aluminum case. I can give you some suggestions for a $50 to $100 case to mod if you PM me. I think that is the best route to go. | ||

| You can find old ATX cases at Used PC or Electronic shops or a pawn shop where I originally found this old steel ATX case for $35 FYI: Cheiftec/Antec towers are not the best for modding. The front intake bezel limits what you can do. Besides, just about everyone has one. | ||
