| Ok I want to mount a plexiglass window in the side of my case to a custom cut and was wondering if I could like use double sided tape or super glue or what to put it on with no visible adhesive (from the outside) (I dont want rivets or the rubber lining) but I also want it to be flush. Is this possible? If so how hard is it? Thanks for the help and if I can get this right I will post my pics. | ||

| I don't know exactly what type of material (guessing plexiglass[I am kind of new to this]) It will be about 8in x 16in (approx) it is going to be on the top of a design and I want it mainly for light to come through it and I was going to make the other side a full panel of the window. | ||

| Well that's easy! Epoxy does the trick so long as it can actually stick to the surface. My personal favorite is called JB Weld which is a two part epoxy that sticks anything to anything (I currently use it to secure my rear-view mirror on my van... steel to glass). And it's easily had at Home Depot, or as far as I know, any hardware store. And if you don't want the window that secure, you can always go with putwig's idea on double-sided foam tape or velcro. | ||

| you can also just mount it to the side by melting a couple holes big enough for screws into the window itself and the drill the holes in the case.i found this out after breaking 3 plexi windows while i was trying to use a drill to punch a hole in them.also fyi for anyone interested real easy way to puncture plexiheat up a phillips screw driver over your home stove and then just fimrly apply it to where ya want the hole to be. | ||

| Ooohh, gettin' toasty round here... If you have access to the tools (like a router, or possibly table saw) you can make a rabbett (that is, remove plexi the same depth as the thickness of the case metal)around the outside of the *oversize* window, so that the window will fit in flush, but the lip is against the inside of the case, then ya can just glue, goop, nail or redgreen it with any of the products mentioned... Sport... 3 in one day. Cha-ching! | ||
