Default Reflective surface...and bogus lights

Well i asked awhile back about the whole 4 cc's idea with my current power cituation and even played with the whole idea of the second psu....i dont have my new full tower case yet....but i bought a new 400w psu, what the hell the tower im getting doesnt have one so ill just carry it over....but anyways, no problems whatsoever....and my votage monitors are all within perameters

But back to my main question.....i mounted 2 of my 4 lights, i was thinking...would it increase illumination in the case by a noticeable amount if i was to use a reflective film over the inside of my rear door, and around the inside of my window?

And on the whole bogus light issue....i was recommending Frozencpu.com CC's.....i now retract that statement...the new lights i have are brighter, sturdier, coverters are incased in a plastic box with breather holes, and dammit i bought 4 for the price of what i paid for one.....not to mention that dam frozencpu light blew out on my tonite and tried to take my frickin hard drive that was on the same power ribbon with it.......all the other gear i bought from them was mucho good.....but buyer beware on the CC's, they say there made in house....and it shows....looks like they were made in the kitchen with some plastic tubing and some clear window ****ing.... FROZENCPU CC's

Hehe, Zero your recommending the new light, BUT WHERE DID YOU GET THEM FROM!!!???

I alway recommend CC from SVC Compucycle They have incredible cheap prices and are almost twice as bright as most CC, they sound like the ones you are describiing

well the company i bought them from has a website, but i cant exactly find them on the website....but the website is www.epcsolution.com

oh yeah btw, i went into Compusa today to pick up some artic silver thermal goo, and to my disbeleif they have a very very large selection of modding supplies....im not sure if its just my local store or if its nationwide....but they had come very nice looking cc kits, single and dual lighted kits, as well as a very wide selection of differant colored lighted antec case fans.....they even had one in hot pink!....i almost pooed on myself when i saw that color lol....laser cut fan grills, aluminum wire mesh fan filters, some pretty nice cpu coolers, zalman, coolmaster, thermaltake just to name a few.....lots of cooling solutions, hd coolers, as well they now sell window kits, comes compete with window and window molding......alot of stuff....everyone should run down and take awe at this company helping modding get into the mainstream just a little more =P

I just finished with my friends case I painted the inside all white with one cc on the bottom and thats all it needed to light up the inside looks good and he and his girlfriend were tickled pink. (there first computer and first mods) Or you could put a mirror on the bottom for the lights to reflect off of or on your door.they do make mirrors out of plexi.I haven't herd of this reflective film your asking about but try it and see.thats what moding is all about .

Ya ive seen that at my local CompUSA. All those lights and most are from a company called PCtoys and subsidiary of Coolerguys.com Ive never brought any of there stuff before, but the price compUSA charges is alot more expensive than what you can find online, though still it is extremly cool to see this stuff out in the marketplace.

yeah I agree that the prices are a lil higher, but it's definately great to see this stuff in retail stores. I think putting moding stuff in retail stores will help expand this hobby

our local comp store, (yes theres only one, besides Best buy, which i wont even mention) has carried em for a bit now, but all the employees are huge modder fans and were showing the owners their stuff and decided there would be a market for em.

i have a CC from pc toys i've had for a few months and it works fine but its not as bright as the one i bought from casemods.com, i wish i hadn't have broken that one. as far as a reflective surface you can try an arts and crafts place like michael's they have posterboard that has a reflective surface looks almost like aluminum. ihave it in my case , you might wasnt to see if that'll work for you
