| I don't think anyone has used fiber optics on a case before. I'm definately going to do it on my next case, but I thought I'd throw it out to you all because I always see people asking for new ideas. Heres a great link for lots of fiber optic goodies. The possibilities are endless! ![]() | ||

| I have some fiber optic mods in the works for the case i posted in project feedback last nite the nexus multifunction panel has 5 little bumps that radiate outward from the center of the rheostat knob I plan on drilling those holes out and inserting 5 strands of fiber optic cable in there and lighting them all from the backside with a red led so my knob is lighted by 5 tiny pin pricks for the indicator line Just waiting on the fiber cable and the casing (fiber strands are much smaller than my 1/6th drill bit so i need to use a jacket casing for the strands as well as some adhesive so they stay put), my fiancees uncle is supposed to be getting me several feet of the stuff this week | ||

| BA: Could you turn me on to that link bro? I found a site like that but didn't bookmark it, and now I can't seem to find it. It had square cables and such. (Sorry about giving away your plans) TykSak: Cool picture man! Thats exactly along the lines I was thinking. (Can't devulge the whole deal yet) Sk8forMaple: Oh hell ya! I've got some cool ideas in my head for this one. It's gonna look really, really sweet! ![]() | ||

| Joe, check out www.usplastic.com. That's where I get formula R-3603 Tygon chemical tubing for $1.54 a foot, the best on the market for watercooling. They also have acrylic sheets, see through channeled joiners, and acrylic hinges. Even flourescent acrylic sheets. They also have acrylic pipes just like plumbing PVC that I want to figure out a use for. The rods that I told you about aren't plexi though, they are also acrylic. A hell of a lot stronger but harder to work with. They will even custom cut and mold any pieces you need. Make sure you ask for their catalogue. | ||
