| Apex Techie Lite | I have my nibbler and am ready to design something kinda special for my top-mounted exhaust fan. (Don't you guys just love it when a bad-ass idea hits you and you're ready to take on the challenge? ) Anyway, what's the best (cheapest) tool to drill a 3/8" hole with? I have a few switches I need to mount too. Take care all.... | |

| a drill is usually a good choice for drilling holes, especially when you use a drill bit. and if you want to drill a 3/8's inch hole, you should look into a 3/8's inch drill bit. of course you COULD buy a 1/4 inch drill bit and mod the 1/4 inch hole with a small file to make it 3/8's. that would be pimp. ok, enuff smart-ass comments. heh. couldnt resist. If you dont have a drill, I think you can take your piece to a home improvement store and they will (should) let you borrow a drill from the tool rental department. call around to Home Depot or Lowes type stores and see if they will let you borrow a drill for a few minutes. | ||
