Ok, I've been wanting to 're-mod' my pre-mod case. I have one that has the exact side panel as this one

I would love to hear some ideas on how to make this ho-hum premod into something really Pimp. I am probably going to redo the window first. The front of mine is different. I have seen some of the new pre-mod cases with a little lighted tube on either side of the front that gives the appearence of bubbles (but its just a solid plexi tube with air bubbles in it). I was wondering if it would be possible to put real water in some tubes and put like a little aquarium pump and bubbler in them to get that old fashioned Juke box look. Anyhow, if you have any ideas, let me know.

can't remember who posted it,but you could use the bubble window mod with plastic tubes for the effect you want.aquarium shops often sell the tubing in different sizes.pick up a double-gang valve to control the air flow.use the extra gang for a bleed to reduce back-pressure on the pump and keep it quiet.

buy a billiard ball or a shot-put (track and field) and use a hairdrier or heat gun to soften the plexi that is in the window and press from the inside with the round object of your choice to make it look like the plexi is being blown from the inside.

First thing I would do is take apart that plastic front and paint it on the inside, so the outside would still be clear and stuff. Like a dark blue or black crackle paint. Just cut the whole side panel minus an inch or so to secure a new larger piece of plexi. Add cool custom decal, etching or airbrush work to inside of glass and presto you have something that doesn't look like every other case out there.

damn, i was at Denny's two nights ago staring at the jukebox to see how i could gte that effect in a case oh well. if you do it, best of luck i think it could look prety sweet. i was also thinking of those desk-top bubble curtains that are basically plastic rectangles that are thin but tall that have the bubbles going up....cut the window and just mount the whole unit to the case as the pexi.... throw a cycling RGB LED behindit and it's all good....
