Hard drive activity meter

I found this link over at Virtual-hideout...

anyways, it serves as a replacement for your hard drive activity LED, and it uses the same connection on your motherboard. Seems pretty neat, I was just wondering if anyone else has seen this or has used it.

I like it alot(with out the biohazard symoble though)

Ive been trying to do with same with a WWII b-17 tachmeter..... i need to design a circuit that will do pretty much the same thing.

That's a neat find,
I've always wanted to have analog displays of things usually done digitally... i'm just not circuit savvy enough to do it myself.

It looks like it replicates the dual HDD array shown on bit-tech.com that has different led arrays lighting based on wheter or not the HDD is being accessed.
