Bi-Directional LEDs

I think thats what they are technically called... But I am going to call them Knightrider LEDs. I need some and I CANNOT for the life of me find a site that carries them. Anyone got a good one that does??? I cant even find a place in town that has them. Thanks for the help

Are you talking about a bi-color led that light two differeat colors or leds that sweep back and forth. I you are talking about the latter build your own. Check them out here http://www.bit-tech.net/article/82/

Its kinda like the one at that site.. Except they are small ultra bright LEDS and they do sweep back and forth. Like the one on the site you sent me, except they were fore sale. I will have to get the schematics and try and build one if I cant find them. I havent messed with saudering and schematics in a LONG time.. hehe

if anyone else has seen them let me know

They're commonly referred to as LED chasers. You can find places that sell them premade (typically for cars) just by searching Google. Hobbytron.com sells kits to build them... comes with the schematics and parts.

Has anyone put a "disco ball" in their case before. Or something of the sort?

are you referring to the mirror ball or the many colored spinning lights? i have seen the mirror ball, but not sure of the second one....
