Default Lighted Door Fan

Can a lighted fan go on a door fan mount? One like this...

http://store.yahoo.com/xoxide/spcocafang.html

I know it can but how is it fitted. I want the fan to blow in but would that mean the lights would face in?

Reasons to NOT buy a Cathode fan:
1. 'Green', from a cathode, looks Lime Green.
2. The cathode is on the side the fan is sucking from, preventing ability
00to mount on any window unless it has a removable cathode grill.
3. See #1.

If you want a nicely lit fan, custom LED mod a clear blade fan
with extremely bright LED's, and/or buy an LED acrylic grill.

Yeah those cathode fans suck, the green cathode goes yellow after about a week

The green cathode in my XBox is so green, it makes the green power/eject LED look yellowish. I've had it for six months and I don't remember it changing color. Maybe it varies by brand (mine's an AngelMod).

Looks like it's screwed on the back of the fan ... so in standard trim it would be furthest inboard. Probably not a problem as the fan is clear, but if is was and/or you wanted if in case-cc-fan configuration (or even cc-case-fan), I suspect it would just be a matter of unscrewing the fittings & finding longer ones.

As TexK pointed out though - a LED fan wouldn't give you that problem, and it'd also be the claimed colour.
