Question Need help with Lian-Li Case Takedown!

I just received a black Lian Li PC-75B full tower case. It's a sweet case. However, I'm having trouble with the takedown. The frontpanel removes and replaces very easily. The side panels are stuck, however. I've removed the thumbscrews in the back but neither side panel is coming loose. I'm not sure whether I just need to apply more force to overcome friction or whether there is an additional attachment I haven't seen. I don't want to apply too much force and break something. Anyone have experience with this case?

I have another question regarding the matte black aluminum. This case is made out of great material, but there are a couple small blemishes in the finish. They are minor and not worth me returning the case. What should I use to match with the black surface to clean up the scratches? I was thinking some thin black color matched paint might work, but I figure there's probably a more appropriate way to clean up the marks.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

From the pictures I saw online, it looks like the doors attach the same way as on my mid-tower PC-7. Take out the thumbscrews, slide back about an inch, and remove.

For those following along, here's what the anodized finish looks like:

There's a lot of friction and neither side wants to slide back. It may be stuck due to not being opened in a long time. I may have to get a friend to apply some pressure to the back to get it to slide forward. Still worried about applying too much pressure and damaging the case.

The finish is very nice. The case is impressive to see. The scratches are minor and will hardly put a tear in my eye. Nonetheless, I'm wondering if a little thin ink might mask them a bit. I'll have to do research on some metal sites or something.

there are a total of 8 thumbscrews on the back, 4 on the PSU plate, and 2 sets of two vertical, one on the right and one on the left. Take off all the ones on the right and pull on the little indent, it'll slide and then go "chunk" as the tabs hit something, then tip the door out and just pull, same as on the left side. I have the PC65B and it's basically the same thing. And yes, it's a relatively hard slide.

EDIT: 12 thumbscrews, forgot about the mobo tray

Hmm.. There are little U-shaped rails on the bottom and front of the panel that help it fit snugly in place. If they're too snug, I guess there could be a lot of friction. I wonder if squirting some WD-40 along the front and bottom edges would help...

EDIT: I was gonna suggest taking out the mobo tray first to get a grip on both sides, bu apparently the PC-75 doesn't have a slide out tray like the 60 and 65.

Pictures.

Step one, those are the screws. Pull them off and slide the door back, with the little handle helps
Step two, make sure it's all the way back, looks to be about half an inch to an inch
Step three, tilt the door towards you, bottom part is the hinge
Step four, you're done.

Pardon the quality, webcam while the rig is on.

Default Thanks

Thanks guys, I had a friend who has much stronger arms than I push on the back while I pulled from the front and it came loose with no damage. It did take a surprising amount of force. Now that they are off, it seems to slide on and off relatively easily.
