Went to Walmart at lunch looking for red cellophane. This Walmart didn't have any (yes I looked by giftwrap), but while I was there, I came across an interesting product in the Scrapbooking section of their Craft department. They're called "Tile's Play", and they look a lot like the DIY Case Badges that are $10 for 6 at Directron ($15.65 shipped!). Except these are $2.42 for 16.

They're perfectly clear, measure roughly 15/16" square (as opposed to the 1" square of the Directron ones) and are adhesive-backed.

By the way, they come with some tiny squares too, which might make a good "lens" for backlighting with an activity LED. Or a Micro-ATX case badge?

I'm not so into case badges myself, but my dad has a Chieftec Dragon case that's crying out for one on the drive door.



P.S. Someone's going to say, "Badges? We don't need no stinking badges", right?

sticking unwanted badges to peoples' computers. It's not quite ordering a stripper, but it's a giggle.

Got a more exact measurement of these when I got home. Turns out they're closer to 1x1" than I thought (like 31/32"). Fits very well in the case badge spot on the front of that Chieftec case!

For those looking for 'em, the brand name on these is "Sticko". Here's the official product website.

I got the last one at my Walmart; I imagine craft/scrapbook stores might carry them too. If you can't find any, let me know -- I'm sure not going to use all 16!

Thanks for the Heads up on this item, I had to take my son to WalMart today for school junk and I looked for this items and BANG, there were 3 packs at the price you said and now my local WalMart is Sold out of this item...
