Which is the best red fan?

I'm sure i've read that some fans come out more pink than red.

need your advice guys by the way i'm from the uk, so would help if i could get them good old blighty

Also looking to get a couple of red led lamps and suggestions?

I'm using 2 Antec Red LED fans (120mm each) and they're red, not pink. Others have bought the regular pink-ish looking CCFL's, and wrapped red cellophane around them to get them to glow red. Red cellophane is available in the gift-wrap section of your local Wally World. Welcome to Pimprig.

Most LED fans with red LED's will be as red as it gets. You can use LED tail lamp replacements for cars for the lighting.They are super bright and are around $6 US each.

The problem with red lights is not LEDs, which are very very red, but with CCFL, which are usually pinkish, also anythign UV reactive red will be pretty orange. If you go with red LED fans, as opposed to red UV or UV LED fans or red CCFL fans, they will be red.

Those pink fans would be of the circular CCFL on-the-fan variety. They suck.

Any quality LED-based fan made by CRE, Logisys, Vantec, or my favorite,
Coolermaster, is going to be the color advertised, in your case, red, not pink.

Only LED fans to beware of are made by Unicom.
