Default Lian Li modders?

Yeah, I am modding my LL PC30 soon. And like my other LL and all others I am tired of the fan grating (little circles in the form of two squares.

What I want to do is cut out two big circles instead of the squares, but I think the square grating is bigger than the holes I want to make (92mm Vantec Tornados). So I would be left with the circles I want but I would still have stupid little wholes from how the previous ventilation was set up.

Has anyone sucessfully done this? If you what kind of bit did you use on your dremel (assuming thats what you used)?

Thanks, Z

No experience with that case but I am thinking you can use some aluminum flashing to go over the lip of the holes and square up the look of the fan installs.

What I wanted was to make them look like the fronts of jet engines. Where they were circular holes with rubber lining around the edges, so all you could see of the fan was the blade spinning. But I would need 92mm in diameter for the circles and I know the squares of a LL are larger than that. So the outcome would be little circles from the previous ventilation where the circle doesnt reach too.

You could try to incorporate the into the cutout and make it where they are even all around the hole, if this is possible Ive never done anything to that part of a Li.

What I mean is to use the flashing around the outside of the fan holes to cover up the ventilation holes.

Well flashing will make it look like two pieces. I was thinking if I could find 1/16th" flashing then I could cut out the squares and use 2-ton epoxy to line the flashing so that it will look like one piece. Then cut the circles from the flashing, then powder coat it black.

The only thing I am leary about is... Do they make 1/16th" aluminum flashing? And will 2-ton epoxy hold it good enough? And if it does and i powder coat it will it stick when heated?
