Finally got everything set up perfectly, just cable mnagemtn left. O know it aint case modding but i dont know where else to put it. Also about 8' away from the TV is a nice leathercouch i play from. I have a smaller monitor in my room, that if the TV is in use can just un plug the computer bring it over and plug it back in, i got doubles of everything to save on time. So let me know what you think

Memory: 1GB DDR400
GFX: Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb

The Monitor/TV is a Pioneer PDP-434PG Plasma Display, it runs at 1280x768 at 70Hz for the desktop and then at 1024x768 at 75Hz when playin a game. I can read text and everything perfectly.

The speakers are Onkyo DL-R50's w/ the same receiver which does Dolby Digital/ DTS, and all other stuff.

can we get some specs of the actual system. the screens way nice, wouldnt mind owning one myself.

I edited the specs in, and I only have one complaint, it really only workx best at night, because we have a a massive 20' window that has no blinds on it so there is a lot of glare in the early monring into the afternoon. So I just lug it back to my room then.

O ya doom3 rox and it looks and sounds amazing over that, obviously running at 1025x768 and the settings are at medium without a dip in FPS, i can move it to high but if a lot of things happen at once it gets kind of laggy, but still playable

And for peopel who complain that they hate looking at a small screen when playing games and thats why they use consoles, this is the solution, alienware has something like it (http://alienware.com/product_pages/m...enter_dhd.aspx), but it's way more expensive. I thing i want to build one of those crazy mousepad on bottom keyboard ontop trays they showed in PC-Gamer 2 moths ago.

Everythin seems setup quite nice in there exept the moouse and keyboard or do they rest on a diff surface when ur using the pc.

The speakers and monitor put me in awe. The system isn't all that, but coupled with the rest of the stuff, I like it.

O ya i dont sit that close allthought i can, i sit a fre meters back on my couch, just put a mouse pad down there and the keyboard on my lap, takes a few minutes to get used to but, hey it worx.

Damn, finally some proof that it runs widescreen. Good.

i run doom 3 on my TV its a 32" so it runs hooge! so it works quite well but sometime it flickers but i think its my av connections etc

My tv will not receive the games sounds etc so i ahve to use my speakers on my pc i dont mind though

how are you sending the signal to your TV?

Give my that monitor / sound system :p the system specs are very nice and all and I guess with those limits on resolution anything higher is overkill (i run Doom 3 @ 10x7 on a 128mb 9800 Pro too...)
