Mod help

My friends mom wants me to make here a new comp with one of them light bar things from the old sterios, if you know what im talking about, the bars go up and down with the music. Im wondering how i can do this and how much its going to cost. Thanks.

Well if you want a light bar like that to show your hard drive activity, I suggest the DragonMeter.

This does exactly what those old stereos did with the light bar going up and down, except it does it according to your hard drive activity.

If you want it to go up and down with the music she plays on her computer, I have no idea. They sell lots of sound-reactive stuff at the comptuer mod sites. But I've only seen products that blink on and off with the music.

hmm well after looking the only good thing is the link in the first post

i suppose yah could make ur own LED strip!! i think that there's a tutorial on how to make one(somewhere in this place called the internet!)

You could also use the Corsair XMS stuff with the LED's on them and get one of the dudes at Dragonmods to extend the LED strip so that you can mount it on the front of the case...

I have a dual (stereo) LED VU meter I will sell ya for $20 shipped. Red LED's with a blue LED as peak indicator.
