Hey all. Just found this site and was pretty impressed with everything here. I just spent some time working on a cheesey $40.00 case and applied some wire management ideas of mine, along with a Nascarish theme and came up with http://www.modtechs.com/casemod.htm
This is a basic start to finish and took us about 4 days and a lot of beers (sorry admin). Had a good time building it and a better time staring at the finished results.

Well, if he's getting into it, he's off to a good start already on LAN party etiquette. Sport drinks, beer, and huggies. Now all he needs is a few empty No-Doz boxes laying around, some LiveWire Mountain Dew, and a small microwave under his chair so he'll never have to get up once in 48 hours.

Oh, nice mod on the window. Don't know how Taz fits in with the Nascar Ernhardt theme, though. Might have looked better etching it, then edgelighting it. That's what I'm about to attempt in the very near future.

I only looked at like half a dozen pics. Do you think you can throw an HTML Thumbnail page or something next time? It iwll make browsing all your pics and checking out your work alot easier.

Yea, my fault on that. Http://www.modtechs.com/casemod.htm I thought about that then did this up, lol. Thanks for all the feed back on my case. The wiring was something I had been working on for a few months and was finally able to apply it to this case. The Nascar theme is just my way of showing respect to my fav drivers. Some one mentioned that they were not sure if Taz had anything to do with the Earnhardts... Dale Sr has several cars with Taz on em. He had his car painted red with Taz on the hood. There were also a few commercials with Sr and Jr with Taz.
That other case was my first attempt at modding. I cut out the door, without lining everything up and ended up with a door at an angle, lol. It is an old server tower case. I ended up bustin out the plexi window less than a month after putting it in, working on a family members pos computer.

The work was long and hard, but definitely worth it. I still stop and stare at it, thinking how cool this or that is and what I would do differently the next time.

The next project will be removing the complete HD/ROM cage and mounting the HDs either on the inside top of the case of the bottom with a cut out on the door, at the bootom, for the ROMs. Gunna be interesting to see how this one comes out.

Nice. Like Necro said above, there are other TAZ fans lurking around these forums. I'm one of them as well. I like what you've done with the case, and thanks for the little picture gallery, much easier to browse.
