Default Case Window Question

I recently cut a new window in my box and was thinking about getting glass into it. But is it worth it. I mean compared to Plexi. I was thinkin about a tempered glass or a double strength stuff. Or should i just go with Plexi.

plexi all the way imo. Doesnt break near as easy but it is easier to scratch. If its going to be in a high traffic area and theres no kids around than id go with glass, but if its going to be viewed from atop your desk than id throw some plexi on it due to its durability and is the easiest of the two by far to work with.

I'll be replacing the stock window in my case (a chenbro gaming bomb with that stupid "B)" window....) and i've been wondering what i should use to replace it, if theres any big differences between the clear plastics (lexan, plexi, policarbonate, acrylic, lucite...). Any advantages/disadvantages to any of those?

Lexan is the better product imo due to the high melting point, or at least my modding journys it has been.

Lexan is a brand name for polycarbonate
Plexi is a brand name for acrylic
Lucite is a brand name for acrylic.

Each brand is slightly different but not by much. Polycarbonate and acrylic are very different but in this application one does not offer much advatange over the other. Polycarbonate is a bit more scratch resistant which is good, but I never really had a problem with acrylic as long as you take care of it.

Me and david done a real glass mod, we broke a few peices of glass just getting it all together . I don't like the idea of glass, but it did look nice and clean. But If you go to Lan parties(which I know you do) I wouldn't use glass, just go with plexi or acrylic.
