Have any benchmarks on that one yet?

You are the first one I have seen here with a FX, is that a 939 Pin?

Looking good.

Word of advice, plan on ordering some new fans. Those evercool's don't hold up for more than a month until they start annoying the hell out of you. A "fix" for this is to just take out the plastic washer that is on the fan's axle. This quieted down the fans for me, although they still aren't as queit as they should be.

Is that the Guardian case that AntiM reviewed used there (not the exact case obviously)?

It's the 940 pin. No, I don't have any spec's on it yet. Just temps on the FX-53 are sitting at a solid 35C without any overclock, but the chipset next to it feels hotter than hell I've got to cool that chipset before any serious overclock. Any suggestions on the best deal on a good chipset watercooler? The Koolance CHC-A05 looks like a deal at around $20 retail. Would consider spending more (hahaha like on the Polarflo Chrome TT) if the chipset cooler performs well.

Yeah - had a ATI 9800 XT in there and sold it for the 9600XT AIW and extra cash. Also, when I overclock, I don't know what card would be best to handle it, since I don't know enough about AGP/PCI lock. Gotta do more research on that.

Hahhaha - yeah - the [H]ardGawds over at [H]ardOCP raked me over the coals about that power supply - heh - $22.45 shipped. I heard the tales of woe over cheap PS's. I'll look for a new one. The case when I got it from Newegg had an Orion 420W which may have been a better PS.

K - will take that advice. Do you like Sunon 120mm fans?

Yeah - I didn't show a pic after I scraped off the thermal paste with a credit card, but I did do that.

Thanks for all the comments.

If youve got that kind of cash to throw around on pc hardware and watercooling you take a look at what DangerDen has lined up for a chipset cooler.
