What is a good thickness to use. I am going to do several things. A window. A water bowl of sorts that will house my pump and contain and direct leaks as well as a shroud for my heatercore.

I would use 1/4 inch acrylic. You could try 1/8 but for a "water bowl" i think it might flex a little too much.

What eva thickness the acrylic or plexi is, is still very easy to see through, but ofcourse theres cost and flexibility. I would stay by the 1/4". Its used universally by techforums and pimpriggers. I htink because of its thickness it far easier to join 2 pieces in what eva fashion, and is also easier to cut.

1/4" may be a little too thick for a window and shroud, my suggestion is go with the 1/8" for those two and then stick with 1/4" for the res.
