| Guest | i am using styrofoam to may a case..... im using the dremel to cut out the shape i want on the outside of the case...... anyways..... i need something to cover the styrofoam to make it really really hard..... any suggestions on what to use and where to get it?! any help will be appreciated | |

I'm not going to quest why your making a case out of styrofoam (since it retains heat), but resin like the type for fiberglass would might work. Use a test piece to make sure the resin won't eat the styro first though. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Guest | no.... im not building the case out of it..... im covering the metal..... im trying to make it look like a "western" style case..... carve out the wagon wheels for it..... so its gotta be damn strong........ is there anything better to use than styrofoam but its still very easy to work with? | |

| i was thinking resin too. id think carving foam then covering it would be easier than grinding at particle board. but if your making wagon wheels you could make wagon wheels or buy them thenif you wanted it on the case like it was carved you could put bondo around it or something. | ||
