Default Sides of Case modding

I got this old beatup case (pictures to come in a project thread... eventually) and I don't have its old sides, I really like the case for the project I'm doing, but I NEED the sides, or sides that fit.... it's a normal old ATX case... of the smaller variety, but not mini... .... any help would be appreciated.

well heres an idea ive been playing with, instead of getting sides that fit, make your own! also, make them unique: use plexiglass or something like that, put in some hinges and locking mechanisms, and maybe even make them open like suicide doors. im actually going to be writing a tutorial on that soon. good luck

I would... but I don't want to. In addition to already having some fully developed plans and parts that will be put into the final product of the sides of the case.... I want a black case, and I don't want a black case with plexi... unless......

how does this sound, I use the silver flame pieces that I already have on the inside of the window, and then use black plexi that has full window tint on the outside, but then when the comp is turned on the light shines through the tint>????

like it?

it just so happens that i messed the sides of my case up...... so i bought some sheetmetal that was about the same width of my case, i measured it to make it close to perfect and i cut it out (dont forget to leave enough room for where you bend it to fold over the sides) and then you drill the holes for the screws.......and tada, paint it and you got you a case side!

I had to do the exact same thing to a case. I got a nice sheet of metal for around 5 bucks and used a rubber mallet and a piece of wood to make my bends. Worked like a champ.
