First things first. I am guessing that what you are talking about is the capacitors. Second. You need UV Reactive Paint. xoxide.com sells it for 12.99 a can: http://www.xoxide.com/paint.html.

I believe, though i may be wrong, that the UV Paint is Non-Conductive. However, (and someone else who does know for absolute sure, as i am pretty sure) that the top of the capacitor is not conductive (as you can touch them and not get the sh*t shocked out of you. Just don't penetrate the top of the capacitor, as that would be bad.

Also, you might want to look around at other sites for the paint, i just knew that xoxide had it off the top of my head.

I would use the UV reactive fingernail polish.... I used to use it when I did raves in college, it was BRIGHT! And, it was clear, so I wore it over black and had people trippin pretty hard...

NO,you can use any kind of paint as the capacitor (the can thing) is a sealed aluminum can,you can paint the whole thing if you like.

Like Kayin said the UV fingernail polish works great.UV poster paints work well also, just mix a little elmers glue with them to make them more permanent, they are cheap too.

You might try a flat white undercoat first, it gives the UV reactive colors a base and really brings out the brightness.

just be careful that you don't use a really thin paint that can get inside the caps........ that'd be bad. very very bad.
