| Alright so im going to a LAN on the 27th and I told the guys I would bring a game server, well I have decided to put it in with my normal pc case...I know its a bit ghetto but it doesnÂ’t matter. All I am missing is a another hard drive and a well it doesnÂ’t matter how fast of cd rom is..its a 833 p3 with 128 mbs of ram. If anyone can give me some suggestion on how to hook up the pci cards to the frame when its closed..or can point out any flaws it would be appreciated ..ive changed some stuff from the picture you see, like a hard drive cable running up with the other 2 going into my case..the power supply is attached to my hard drive rails.. AND!!! If anyone can send me some ram for free. I would appreciate it...16mb/32mb/64mb/128mb stick...donÂ’t matter, but it would help to have a little more then 128mb of ram. ![]() | ||

| the p3 looks like its very close to the gpu, which might limit cooling to the cpu and/or the gpu. on the kvm, i believe Dimazz posted about that, and it was said that every wire must be the same length or the quality won't be as good or it wont function. you can see the topic here. | ||

| Home-made monitor switches are kinda hard to get right, I guess you could do it, but sometimes they don't catch things being hard-wired with no actual circuitry. For the PCI cards, you could get a piece of sheet metal, drill some holes, and buy some screws that are slightly bigger than the holes so they fit...then you could just pince the lip of metl in between the PCI card and the piece of sheet metal. | ||
