Default water cooling mod

i got a question and i know this is in the wrong place... but do i need to put antifreeze in my aquarius 2?

Not if you used the coolant mix that came with it.

What they said, but if you are using just water, you only need the anti-freeze if the liquid will drop to it's freezeing temp... I think... Unless your instructions state differently.
But don't use just anti-freeze! Some tech guy at Canadian Tire filled my dad's radiator with only anti-freeze... Oh BOY! What a disaster!
P.S. It would probably be a good idea to consult the manufacturers (I think that's how it's spelled).

Antifreeze, in this application, has nothing to do with combating stasis at sub-zero temps.

We add anti-freeze, or other additives, to our DISTILLED water to prevent corrosion and bio-growth.

Most commercial kits (like the Aquarius) ship with a bottle of coolant that does the job. If he is mixing his own, 5-10% Ethylene Glycol (anti-freeze)in distilled water is the cheapest, and most readily available
